In a study on in-situ tensile testing of plant fibers, the research team used the Haytham visual microscopic strain measurement system to perform a detailed mechanical performance analysis of plant fibers. During the test, the system recorded the deformation of the fibers in real time during tension and generated high-precision stress-strain curves.

Specimen dimensions and field setup
The results show that the Haytham system not only accurately captures the initial elastic behavior of the fibers but also reveals the complex strain distribution of the fibers as they approach fracture. These data provide important experimental evidence for studying the relationship between fiber structure and mechanical properties, and offer strong support for the modification and optimization of fiber materials.

The application of the Haytham visual microscopic strain measurement system in in-situ tensile testing of plant fibers significantly improves testing accuracy and data completeness. Through non-contact high-resolution measurement and real-time strain analysis, researchers can gain deeper insight into the mechanical characteristics of plant fibers under load, providing important technical support for research in materials science, fiber engineering, and related fields.
