Slope Displacement Monitoring in Zhangzhou (Xinhua Line)

The slopes along the Xinhua Line in Zhangzhou are affected by terrain, rainfall and the road environment, requiring continuous knowledge of displacement changes in key areas. Traditional manual inspection is conducted at intervals and can hardly record the complete accumulation process of subtle slope displacements.

The project set up monitoring targets at key positions on the slopes and deployed the Haytham online visual tracker. By continuously identifying and tracking target positions, the system automatically obtains slope displacement data and uploads the monitoring results to the remote platform.

Managers can view displacement and variation trends over different periods through the platform to judge whether the slope is undergoing continuous deformation. When monitoring data reaches the preset threshold, the system can issue alarm messages, providing a basis for on-site inspection and risk handling.

Through the non-contact and automated visual monitoring method, this project has brought county and township road slopes into a continuous monitoring system, reducing dependence on regular manual measurement and improving the timeliness of slope risk information acquisition.
