Monocular 3D Video Extensometer
In 1500°C tensile testing of carbon/carbon (C/C) composites, the material is exposed to intense radiation, high heat flux, and complex atmospheres; conventional contact extensometers and strain gauges tend to fail, detach, or add extra load, failing to reflect the true constitutive behavior of the material. For this extreme condition, Haytham Technology'smonocular 2D video extensometer, combined with high-temperature speckle techniques, provides a stable and reliable non-contact measurement solution for high-temperature mechanical testing of C/C composites.

To handle the hot-airflow disturbance and strong radiation brightness changes common in high-temperature tension, the system pairs targeted optimization of the image correlation algorithm with a dedicated high-temperature speckle process, ensuring good contrast stability and adhesion reliability of the speckle at high temperature and a stable image basis for strain computation. Meanwhile, the monocular 2D measurement structure requires no complex calibration and integrates easily with high-temperature furnaces, vacuum furnaces, and inert-atmosphere tensile systems, significantly improving experimental efficiency and test consistency.

In aerospace thermal protection structures, high-temperature structural components, and advanced composite research, Haytham'smonocular 2D video extensometer has become a key measurement tool for 1500°C tensile testing of C/C composites, providing reliable data support for high-temperature mechanical performance evaluation and engineering applications.
