Urban rail transit station structures are complex, with many factors such as surrounding traffic, passenger flows, underground pipelines and adjacent construction, which place higher requirements on structural safety monitoring. The station structure monitoring project of Jinji Road Station on Hangzhou Metro Line 5 focuses on the displacement and deformation of the station structure during operation and changes in the surrounding environment, requiring a stable, continuous and non-contact monitoring means to track key measurement points over the long term.
The Haytham online visual tracker adopts a non-contact visual measurement method: the monitoring equipment is deployed at stable positions, and passive targets are arranged at key parts of the station structure. By continuously collecting target images and combining digital image correlation (DIC) algorithms with subpixel recognition technology, the system calculates the horizontal and vertical displacement changes of the structure in real time.
Compared with traditional contact sensors, online visual trackerit requires no direct contact with the measured structure, offers flexible installation, and causes little disturbance to existing structures, making it suitable for scenarios with high requirements on construction impact and operational safety, such as metro stations, tunnels, bridges and foundation pits.

In this project, Haytham online visual trackercan achieve synchronized monitoring of multiple measurement points, with monitoring data automatically uploaded to the cloud platform, allowing managers to remotely view displacement trends, historical data and abnormal changes. The system can correlate images, data and trend curves, providing intuitive evidence for station structure state assessment, risk judgment and subsequent operation and maintenance management.
This project demonstrates the application advantages of visual monitoring technology in the field of rail transit structure safety: non-contact, continuous, automated and visualized, providing a more efficient way to acquire data for metro station structure monitoring.
Haytham online visual trackerIt can be widely applied to scenarios such as metro station structure monitoring, tunnel deformation monitoring, monitoring of structures around foundation pits, bridge displacement monitoring and underground engineering safety monitoring, helping rail transit projects achieve more refined safety management.
