During tunnel construction, the stability of the surrounding rock and the state of the support structure directly affect construction safety. As an important auxiliary passage in tunnel construction, the parallel adit reflects the deformation trend of the surrounding rock and the loading state of the support through its cross-section convergence changes. Therefore, timely acquisition of the parallel adit's cross-section deformation data is a key link in tunnel construction monitoring and measurement.
The site environment of the Changgan Shicun Tunnel parallel adit convergence monitoring project is complex, and the distribution of measurement points varies. Traditional fixed monitoring methods have limitations in measurement point relocation, temporary re-measurement and multi-section patrol measurement. The project required a movable, easy-to-deploy and efficient visual monitoring solution.
The Haytham mobile visual trackercan be mounted on mobile platforms such as carts, wheeled robots or tracked robots, and flexibly enters different cross-sections for measurement according to on-site monitoring needs. Through image acquisition and intelligent recognition algorithms, the system tracks the targets arranged in the tunnel parallel adit and calculates the displacement changes of key points of the cross-section, thereby obtaining convergence deformation data.
The mobile visual tracker features non-contact operation, high precision and rapid deployment, and is suitable for periodic patrol measurement during tunnel construction, re-measurement of key cross-sections and monitoring of temporary risk points. The device requires no extensive wiring, reducing on-site installation workload and improving monitoring efficiency.

In this project, Haytham The mobile visual tracker can flexibly adjust its monitoring position according to construction progress, achieving rapid measurement of different parallel adit cross-sections. The monitoring results can be used to analyze the deformation trend of the surrounding rock and judge the stability of the support structure, providing a data basis for construction adjustment, risk control and subsequent safety assessment.
Compared with single-point contact measurement, the visual tracking solution can monitor changes at multiple measurement points simultaneously, with more intuitive data and stronger site adaptability. For tunnel projects with long distances, multiple cross-sections and fast construction paces, mobile visual monitoring can effectively improve monitoring efficiency and data continuity.
Haytham The mobile visual tracker It is applicable to scenarios such as tunnel convergence monitoring, parallel adit deformation monitoring, displacement monitoring near the tunnel face, slope inspection, foundation pit deformation re-measurement and temporary bridge monitoring, and is especially suitable for mobile deployment and high-frequency operation needs.
