Haytham DICsystems is a non-contact full-field deformation measurement system based on digital image correlation technology, mainly used for material mechanical testing, structural component deformation analysis, complex-condition experiments and R&D verification.
The core principle of DIC is to capture image changes of the specimen surface with a camera and use algorithms to track the displacement changes of speckles or feature areas during loading, thereby computing the displacement field, strain field and deformation process. Compared with traditional point measurement such as strain gauges and extensometers, a DIC system obtains full-field data of the entire measurement area rather than a single-point result.

In tension, compression, bending, shear, fatigue and high/low-temperature tests of materials, the Haytham DIC system can intuitively present the deformation distribution on the specimen surface, strain concentration areas and failure evolution. For composites, rubber, plastics, films, metals, welded structures, new energy materials and other objects, the DIC system provides more complete deformation data support.
Haytham DICsystems uses non-contact measurement, causing no clamping interference with the specimen during testing — suitable for thin, soft, small, fragile and large-deformation materials. The system also supports full-field strain contour display, displacement data analysis, stress concentration identification and test process tracking, helping users more intuitively understand the mechanical response of materials and structures.
In terms of user experience, the Haytham DIC system features convenient deployment, intuitive operation and complete data; key calibration is completed before leaving the factory, so users can start testing sooner on site with fewer complex commissioning steps.
